Compromise the Spirit-Jack Blake

Friday, May 10, 2024

Good Morning,

In Judges 21.25, we read "everyone did what was right in his own eyes." And in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Paul gives warning that in the last days. (in which we are living) perilous times will come: men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, head strong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of GOD, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! Friends and brethren, sin is active and on the move, it is never satisfied. Spiritual compromise always leads to moral corruption.

Father, thank You for Jesus and for Your word. Help Your obedient faithful children to not be deceived by cruel, unfaithful men of this ungodly and perverse generation. Keep us in Your protection, and give us strength to endure the ways of the world. In Jesus name, AMEN

Foundation of Faith-Jack Blake

Thursday, May 09, 2024

Good Morning,

As for God, His way is perfect, His word, which is truth, is proven over and over again. The Lord, my God, is my solid rock, the foundation on which I build my faith. He is my fortress and my deliverer, my strength in whom I trust fully. He is my shield, and stronghold. I call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. ( See Psalms 18.2,3). I humble myself under the mighty hand of my God and cast all my cares upon Him, that in due time He may exalt me, for I know He cares for me. (See 1 Peter 5.6,7). Oh, magnify the Lord my God with me, and together let us exalt His name. (from Psalms 34.3).

Sins of Ignorance-Jack Blake

Wednesday, May 08, 2024

Good Morning,

The God inspired word has plainly told us that those who do not know Him and do not obey the gospel of Christ will be separated from Him for all eternity. (See Matthew 25.31-46; 2 Thessalonians 1.7-9; 1 John 2.3-6).  It is our individual responsibility to seek God (See Acts 17.27; Hebrews 11.6).  If we do not seek Him and serve Him we are without excuse. (Romans 11.19-22; Psalms 19.1). It is a sad thing that many sincere religious people believe they are serving God. They should consider Paul before His conversion and they would see that like Paul they are mistaken and are still dead in their sins. (See Proverbs 14,12; Romans 10.1-3). Even after we become Christians we are commanded to keep studying the word that keeps us from being led astray by false teaching in ignorance. (1 Timothy 4.13-16; 2 Timothy 2.15-18; 2 Peter 3. 15-18). May we all diligently study to make sure we are not living in sins of ignorance. Then let us labor tirelessly to reach out and teach those who do not know God or His plan for salvation. (1 Corinthians 15.58; Galatians 6.9).

The Children of God-Jack Blake

Tuesday, May 07, 2024

Good Morning,

We are children of God by obedience, we are sons of God by inheritance. We are redeemed, forgiven and God's, own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of the darkness of sin and into His marvelous light. We were once without mercy, but have now obtained mercy. We are disciples of Christ, we deny self and take up our cross daily to follow Him, His example, and His pattern of living. Whatever we. do in word or deed, we do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father though Him. We are Christians, humans who are fallible, persecuted, and once without hope but now have hope through Jesus the Christ who lovingly gave His life on the cross that we might have remission (forgiveness) of our sins. He laid down His life for us, and we owe our life to Him. Hallelujah what a Savior!!

From 1 Peter 2.9, 10; Matthew 16.24; Colossians 3.17.

Faith-Jack Blake

Monday, May 06, 2024

Good Monday Morning,

Paul told Timothy and by extension, us also, to be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, IN FAITH, in purity. ( 1 Timothy 4.12). Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance OF FAITH, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10.22). Jesus the Christ, our lord, savior and protector, is the author and the finisher OF OUR FAITH, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand throne of God. (Hebrews 12.2). Therefore leaving the discussion of the elementary principals, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and OF FAITH toward God. (Hebrews 6.1). FAITH is the glorious victory that overcomes the world. But this FAITH must be an obedient FAITH. For FAITH without works is dead. (James 2.20).

Farther, increase our faith, give us knowledge and understanding. of your word as we study to show ourselves approved by You. Help us Father to never waver from our faith which gives us hope and inspiration.. In Jesus name, we pray AMEN!
