“Life is like a vapor-Jack Blake”
Categories: Blessings from God, Power of GodJames has rightly said: "Life is like a vapor that appears for a time and then vanishes away." James 4.14. This is a true statement because, it is also written that it is appointed for men once to die, and then comes the judgement. Hebrews 9.27. It is God who has the power to give life and to take life as He chooses. Today, this day, God has provided for us to live, rejoice and be glad in it to do His good pleasure. Psalms 118.24. So, since life is short and death and judgement are real and coming, let us open up our hearts and let the Son shine in. Let us hold fast to the word of life and do all things without complaining and disputing that we may become blameless and harmless children of God without fault in the midst of this crooked and perverse generation in which we live, and let our light shine brightly so others might see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Philippians 2.13-16; Matthew 5.16. God wants us to live and be happy while doing His will. Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Romans 12.15. God is counting on us, will we be successful in living and serving Him?
