But to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1.18. AndI I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1.16. God's grace which brings salvation has appeared to all men and teaches us to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present age, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. The Lord sets apart for Himself those who through obedience to His word are godly, those who love Him with all their heart, soul, and mind and those who are strong and courageous, take up their cross daily and follow Him. It is by way of the cross that leads us to our heavenly, eternal home. So seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and meditate on His word which is true, just, pure, lovely and of good report and remain faithful to Him until death and you will recvive the crown of life. Revelation 2.10. God wishes none to perish but that all men everywhere would repent and come to Him. We owe our life to Him, He gave His life for us.
