Our Salvation
Called Children of God-Jack Blake
Friday, April 25, 2025Once we were lost, dying in sin according to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life. Thanks be to our God, we heard the gospel call and by faith obeyed it. We were buried with Christ Jesus in baptism and He washed away our repented past sins and now we no longer walk according to the ways of the world but now walk in newness of life. The world does not know us because it did not know Him. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the children of God!
Be Strong-Jack Blake
Monday, April 21, 2025Our adversary, the devil walks among us every day attacking and tempting us with his immoral principals of lustful, fleshly, sinful ideals which war against the soul and will weaken our faith if we allow it. Therefore, we must be sober minded and vigilant to stand against his wicked ways. We must be strong and courageous as we fight for that faith which was once delivered to the saints.
Psalm 145.18-Jack Blake
Friday, April 11, 2025In these times of trouble when satan tries to interfere with our fellowship with God by tempting us with the fleshly lusts and wicked ways of the world. Satan is knocking on the door of your heart while crouching in the darkness of the world. But you can find God’s peace and comfort in your hearts as you listen to the song “Near to the heart of God” and reading Psalm 145.18.
The Old Becomes New-Jack Blake
Friday, March 21, 2025Spring time has arrived in Northwest, Indiana. The weather begins to warm and by God’s divine power nature comes back to life. Feeling the warmth of the sunlight and seeing the trees, grass and shrubs begin to change color after laying dormant for the fall and winter months, I am reminded of God giving new life in the resurrection of His beloved Son from death that we might have forgiveness of our repented sins and give us hope of eternal life with Him. And how we arise from our burial with Christ in baptism to walk in newness of life. The old dies and the new is born! truly we serve a living and powerful God.
Are You Ready-Jack Blake
Saturday, March 15, 2025There’s a great day coming by and by and perhap sooner than later. It will be a great and glorious day for the faithful of God, who have fought the good fight. For those who have loved and obeyed the Lord while here on earth. But for the sons of disobedience including those who once knew God but later rejected His ways, it will be a a sad and dreadful day. The faithful servant on that day will hear the Lord say, “Well done good and faithful servant.”but the disobedient and unfaithful will hear “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” Will it be a great and glorious day or a sad and dreadful day for you? Are you ready for the Lord to come?
