Growing older in Christ-Jack Blake
Saturday, November 23, 2024Good Morning, As we move closer toward life's end, we grow weary, the body grows weak and the toll taken of by struggles of this life can no longer be ignored. But we also become more excited and enthusiastic by the thought of getting closer to the goal for which we have lived which fills us with a zest that simply cannot be experienced any earlier in life. With each passing day the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 4.16 become more and more real to us "Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day." Just saying.
Live by Faith-Jack Blake
Monday, August 12, 2024Good Morning,
The child of God lives by faith, not by sight and has great hope in hearing on judgement day, good job faithful servant, enter into My rest. Our focus should not be on the here and now, but on the hope of getting to be with Him eternally. By this our love is perfected by us and we should be glad, thankful and rejoice even though for a little while in this life we may be grieved by troubles, trials, tribulations and temptations, and the genuineness of our faith which is more precious than gold that perishes even having been been tested by fire, may result in praise, glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus the Christ. Peter said, though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with great joy filled with glory obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1.6-9.
Citizens of God's Kingdom-Jack Blake
Wednesday, July 31, 2024Good Morning,
Being thankful this morning that our citizenship is not on this earth, but in heaven living eternal with our Lord. It is sometimes difficult t0 live in this world with those who are enemies of the cross, whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their mind own earthly things. While we (God's children) eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lorde, Jesus Christ who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. What a day, glorious day, that will be. Be strong and courageous, brethren, the battle belongs too the Lord and we will be victorious in the end!
Heaven-Jack Blake
Wednesday, February 21, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends,
How beautiful heaven must be, for God the Father is in heaven, and Jesus, the son of man ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the throne of God. In heaven there is no sorrow, no grief, no mourning nor crying, no death, no sadness, only peace and joy and happiness. Heaven is in my heart.
In conclusion; do you want to go to heaven when life on earth is over? There is only one way and that is through Jesus, the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.
