Good Morning,  A friend asks a question: "Wouldn't life be better if people were as enthused and excited about the Lord's day as they are about Black Friday?" I answered, yes, yes it definitely would be. And true followers of the Lord are! Christians look forward to the first day of the week, "The Lord's day" with great joy, excited to be with others of like precious faith to study and hear the word of God. Our mind and thoughts are on heavenly things, which bring life. So shop on Black Friday if you wish, but whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him, God the Father. Colossians 3.17.

Good Morning,  JESUS, the Christ, King of all kings, Lord of all lords is the one I have decided to follow, because He lives still today, seated at the right hand throne of God. He is my bread when I'm hungry, my shelter from troubled winds, my anchor in life's ocean, who has the words of eternal life. JESUS, my best friend, merciful, forgiving and full of grace towards us. JESUS my only reason for living. He is the way the truth and the life, the only way to the Father is through Him. JESUS, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. JESUS, just and fair in His judgements, the one all will stand in front of on that great and glorious day to give an account of the things done on earth, in this body whether good or bad. We have no greater friend than JESUS, for there is no friend like the lowly JESUS, no not one.  These are just some of the reasons I try to take up my cross daily and follow JESUS. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving in your heart let your tests be known to God; and let the peace of God rule in your heart; it is a peace that surpasses all understanding and guards the hearts and minds through Jesus the Christ.  And learn to be content in whatever state you are in.  Life is too short and precious to waste on the trivial things of the world.

The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. Psalms 96.4.  Let us humble ourself under God's mighty hand as we walk with Him fearing Him, knowing and keeping His commandments.  Having the mind of Christ, being kindly affectioned to one another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.  May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, dwell in our hearts, and serve Him with gladness, being thankful for all things.
