Our Salvation
The Armor of God-Jack Blake
Wednesday, February 26, 2025Good Morning, Fightings and fears within without. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against, the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything to stand firm. Thank God for His divine power that grants us everything that pertains to life and godliness. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1.3-4. Thank You, Father, for Your word, and for Jesus, through whom we have forgiveness of repented sins and hope of eternal life with You. In Jesus name, AMEN
Jesus Saves Us-Jack Blake
Tuesday, February 25, 2025Good Morning, All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Romans 3.23. And the wages of sin is still death. Romans 6.23. But while we were yet sinners and still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for us, the ungodly. And you will find salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4.12. Jesus, the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him. John 14.6. So turn your eyes upon Jesus, keep contending for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. Jude 3. Know and keep His commandments, remain faithful to the Master until death and you will receive the crown of life. Jesus promised and what He promises, He keeps.
God's Gift of Salvation-Jack Blake
Friday, January 17, 2025Good Morning, Salvation is free, it is God's gift to all who will accept it. God's love is unconditional but God's gift of salvation must be accepted according to His terms: Hear it, believe it, repent of your sins, confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and be buried with Christ in baptism for the remission of sins repented, then arise and walk in newness of life remaining faithful until death. See Romans 6; Revelation 2.10. God's invitation to all is: "come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." See Matthew 11.28.
Blessings of God's children-Jack Blake
Friday, January 10, 2025.Good Morning, God's children, Disciples of Christ, have been blessed with the inspired word of God that we, His people, may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. And through His divine power, He has blessed us with all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. By which has been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these we may be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption of the world through lust. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Take His Yoke upon You-Jack Blake
Wednesday, January 08, 2025Good Morning, "Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Thus says the Lord, Matthew 11.28-30. As disciples of Christ we should encourage one another more to step away from the noise of this broken, wicked world and humbly turn our full attention to the merciful, faithful, loving God of the Bible and His beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, who gave His life so our sins which we repent of can be forgiven. WE need to turn our eyes upon Jesus with trust and obedience to His will.
