God's Gift of Salvation-Jack Blake
Friday, January 17, 2025Good Morning, Salvation is free, it is God's gift to all who will accept it. God's love is unconditional but God's gift of salvation must be accepted according to His terms: Hear it, believe it, repent of your sins, confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and be buried with Christ in baptism for the remission of sins repented, then arise and walk in newness of life remaining faithful until death. See Romans 6; Revelation 2.10. God's invitation to all is: "come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." See Matthew 11.28.
Blessings of God's children-Jack Blake
Friday, January 10, 2025.Good Morning, God's children, Disciples of Christ, have been blessed with the inspired word of God that we, His people, may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. And through His divine power, He has blessed us with all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. By which has been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these we may be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption of the world through lust. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Take His Yoke upon You-Jack Blake
Wednesday, January 08, 2025Good Morning, "Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Thus says the Lord, Matthew 11.28-30. As disciples of Christ we should encourage one another more to step away from the noise of this broken, wicked world and humbly turn our full attention to the merciful, faithful, loving God of the Bible and His beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, who gave His life so our sins which we repent of can be forgiven. WE need to turn our eyes upon Jesus with trust and obedience to His will.
Why I Love Jesus-Jack Blake
Wednesday, January 01, 2025Good Morning, I stand alone in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene, for He took my sins and my sorrows and made them His very own, then bore them on the cross at Calvary where He suffered and died alone. Jesus paid it all and to Him I owe my all. We should be thankful for the blessings, joy and peace we have in Jesus. Let us diligently study His word to increase our knowledge and faith to help us draw nearer to Him and fully appreciate His amazing grace. Pray for strength to overcome our weaknesses. Turn your eyes upon Jesus and have a happy new year everyone.
