Our Salvation
The Word, the Cross, the Gospel-Jack Blake
Friday, November 15, 2024Good Morning, The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. But to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1.18. AndI I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1.16. God's grace which brings salvation has appeared to all men and teaches us to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present age, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. The Lord sets apart for Himself those who through obedience to His word are godly, those who love Him with all their heart, soul, and mind and those who are strong and courageous, take up their cross daily and follow Him. It is by way of the cross that leads us to our heavenly, eternal home. So seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and meditate on His word which is true, just, pure, lovely and of good report and remain faithful to Him until death and you will recvive the crown of life. Revelation 2.10. God wishes none to perish but that all men everywhere would repent and come to Him. We owe our life to Him, He gave His life for us.
The End Time-Jack Blake
Monday, October 07, 2024Good Morning,
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3.1. At some point in future time (known only by God) Jesus will return with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, with the trumpet of God, 1 Thessalonians 4.16, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1.8. Jesus will never set foot on this earth again but will hover in the clouds and the dead in Christ will rise first, then those who are alive shall be caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4.17. All deceased will be resurrected, those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation, John 5.28,29. All people will stand before the judgement seat of Christ, Romans 14.10, 2 Corinthians 5.10. then all will receive their sentence of going one of two places; the righteous will go to heaven to live eternally with God and the evil will go to eternal punishment. Matthew 25.46; John 5.28, 29. Are you prepared, are you ready for that day to come?
Unchanging God-Jack Blake
Friday, September 20, 2024Good Morning,
According to the scriptures, God does not change. Malachi 3.6. And Jesus Christ, is the same today as He was yesterday and will remain so forever. Hebrews 3.8. This unchanging God can and will change a life of sin and disobedience to a life of purity, righteousness and godliness, if we will cease our conformity to the world and study His word, know it and keep it, He will transform us through Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life, calling you from darkness and into His marvelous light. John 14.6; 1 Peter 2.9. And if we remain faithful until death and we will receive the promised crown of life. Revelation. 2.10. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4.12.
The World is Watching-Jack Blake
Monday, August 26, 2024Good Morning,
Disciples of Christ, beware for as we travel through this pilgrim land with our eyes fixed on our heavenly home, the world is watching and our adversary, the devil, is walking about to see who he can devour. Therefore let us remember to walk humbly with our God and conduct our lives according to His will, letting our light so shine that they will see our good works and glorify our Heavenly Father. Matthew 5.16. Let it be known that we have been buried with Christ in baptism, after crucifying the flesh with all its passions and desires. Galatians 5.24. The world is watching.
Only Through Jesus-Jack Blake
Friday, August 23, 2024GOOD MORNING,
It is only through Christ Jesus and His death on the cross, His burial in a borrowed tomb and His resurrection from death by the Father, that we can have redemption and forgiveness of our sins. It is the power in His blood that washes away our every sin, cleanses our soul and makes us whole again. Thank You, Father, for Your deliverance out of sin's darkness and into the Kingdom of Your Son and His love. See Colossians 1.12-14.
