Good Morning,

The word of God is powerful and sharper than any two edged sword and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4.12).  Every word of God is pure (Proverbs 30.5), and truth (John 17.17).  The gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone (Romans 1.16).  Read it, study it, trust it, obey it.  It is a life changing experience.

Thank You, Father, for Your powerful word that will change the life of all who will believe and obey it.  Help us to study a portion of Your word each day that we might be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is in us.  And thank You for Jesus, our Savior and redeemer, for His church, and the blood He shed to purchase it.  In Jesus name we pray. AMEN

Good Morning,

God sits on His holy throne and reigns over the nations (Psalms 47).  He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations (Psalms 66.7).  The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good (Proverbs 15.3).  We cannot escape His Spirit, nor flee from His presence.  He is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent (Revelation 19.6; Psalms139.1-4; 7-12).  He is our all in all, above all, and in all who will believe, trust and obey Him.  He is the great I AM.  See that you do not refuse Him who speaks.  For if they did not escape who refused Him, who spoke on the earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven (Hebrews 12.25).  Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today if you will hear His voice." If you reading this then be thankful!  For this day was made possible by God through His love, mercy and grace.  It is the day made by God; so be glad and rejoice in it. (Psalms 119.24).  It was by the divine power of God that we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1.3).  He has shown us what is good and only requires us to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6).  To show our love for Him, let us walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we were called, with all lowliness, meekness and logsuffering, forbearing one another in love and endeavoring to keep the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4.1-3).  May the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. (Colossians 3.15).  Trust in Him, obey His commandments, stay grounded deep in His love, steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and be faithful until death, then you will receive the crown of life. (Revelation 2.10).  For God has promised and you shall receive.

Father, we are thankful for Your Son, Jesus, who gives us the way to eternal life and for Your rich mercy and for Your word.  Precious Lord, we ask this morning that You will keep us safe in You everlasting arms and shelter us from the evil one.  Give us peace and stillness to quiet our souls when the troubled winds of life blow.  May we ever be anchored in Your love, steadfast and immovable as we do Your work according to Your will.  Forgive us our repented sins.  And take us by Your righteous right hand and lead us gently Home.

Greetings Brethren and Friends,

Having been buried with Christ Jesus through baptism into death, just as He was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we also should walk in newness of life.  We now belong to Him and those who are His have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  No longer do we let sin reign in our mortal bodies that we should obey its lusts, but now present ourselves to God as being alive from the dead and our members as instruments of righteousness to God.  In this new life we now live in His truth and strive to please Him in all we do, that we may walk worthy of the Lord fully pleasing Him.  Out of our pure love for Christ we are committed to obey His commandments.  Live for Jesus, give Him all you have to give, for if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him and if we endure we shall also reign with Him.  But if we deny Him, He will also deny us.
