The Old Becomes New-Jack Blake

Friday, March 21, 2025

Spring time has arrived in Northwest, Indiana. The weather begins to warm and by God’s divine power nature comes back to life. Feeling the warmth of the sunlight and seeing the trees, grass and shrubs begin to change color after laying dormant for the fall and winter months, I am reminded of God giving new life in the resurrection of His beloved Son from death that we might have forgiveness of our repented sins and give us hope of eternal life with Him. And how we arise from our burial with Christ in baptism to walk in newness of life. The old dies and the new is born! truly we serve a living and powerful God.

The Grace of God-Jack Blake

Thursday, January 09, 2025

Good Morning,  For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and savior Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you. Titus 2.11-15.

Suffering in Christ-Jack Blake

Friday, December 27, 2024

Good Morning,  All who desire to live in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. Do not be ashamed to suffer as a Christian but glorify God in this matter.  2 Timothy 3.12; 1 Peter 4.13-16

Our Spirit Renewed-Jack Blake

Saturday, December 21, 2024

Good Morning,  I pray as did David in Psalms 51.9,10. Father hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, that I might be renewed in the spirit of Your mind. Ephesians 4.23. In Jesus Name AMEN.

My Heart, my Heart, my God-Jack Blake

Thursday, November 14, 2024

Good Morning,  According to the scriptures, from the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness and blasphemies. Matthew 15.9. Man's heart reveals the man. Proverbs 27.19; For as a man thinks in his heart so is he. If we allow Satan, and not God to rule in our hearts we will most certainly stray from God's ways and our hearts will be hardened against Him.  Oh, my God, create in me a clean heart; renew a steadfast spirit within me; search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxieties, and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the Way everlasting. My heart, my heart, my God, yearns for You and Your righteous ways. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN, AMEN. Psalms 139.23,24.
