To Whom Should We Go-Jack Blake
Monday, September 23, 2024Good Morning,
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the beloved Son of God, is the light and the life of the world, the true light of men, came into the world that was made through Him, but the world did not know Him. There were some who walked with Him, knew Him, and believed in Him who went back and walked with Him no more, and Jesus asked His Apostles: "Do you also want to go away?" But Peter answered: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and WE HAVE AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." As the disciples of Christ, living in this world which was made through Christ and which man has turned into hate and wickedness, must continue to walk with our Lord, in the light of His word so we too can come to believe and know Him on a personal and intimate basis.
See John 1.66-69.
God's Redemption-Jack Blake
Friday, September 13, 2024Good Morning,
How can we not love our God, the God who created us? The God who out of His deep love for us, sent His only begotten Son (Jesus) to descend to this low ground of sin and sorrow to die a most cruel and brutal death on a cross, just so we might have redemption for our sins and give us hope of eternal life and a reason to go on. Our God, through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son redeems us, and through His shed blood, cleanses us and washes away our every repented sin. We are not perfect while here, but we should conduct our loves to bring glory, honor and praise to His name so others might see our good works and glorify Him also. God wants no one to perish in their Sin, but wants all to repent, and obey Him.
Father I pray for your forgiveness when we stumble or fall. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
How can we reject so great a salvation. I will glorify the Lord.
Come to Jesus-Jack Blake
Monday, September 09, 2024GoodMorning,
Are you weary, are you heavy hearted? Jesus has the answer; "Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy hearted, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me for I am gentle and lowly in in heart and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11.28-30. And to the faithful He said:"I will never leave you nor forsake you.. So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper, I have no fear, what can man do to me?" So if you find yourself burdened with this wicked and perverse generation, TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS LOOK FULL IN HIS WONDERFUL FACE, AND The THINGS OF EARTH WILL GROW SLOWLY DIM IN THE LIGHT OF HIS GLORY AND GRACE!
Being Like Christ-Jack Blake
Friday, September 06, 2024Good Morning,
You have put off the old self with its deeds and practices, Colossians 3.9, and have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires and now belong to Christ. Galatians 5.24, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created you. Colossians 3.9, 10. We are to have the mind of Christ, Romans 12.16 and be like Him in character. Putting off the old man and putting on the new is both something we did in the past, as seen in the Colossian letter, and in Ephesians 4.22-24. It is stated as a command. This is not easy, but the disciple is to grow in Christ, adding daily to his faith. I myself and I'm sure others are lacking in this command. Pray for us.
Be Not Condemned-Jack Blake
Wednesday, August 28, 2024Good Morning,
No one who is in Christ Jesus, who walk according to the Spirit and not the flesh is condemned, for Jesus the Christ is the Spirit of life who has freed us from the law of sin and death. As long as we abide in Him and He in us, we are indeed His disciples and we shall know the truth which sets us free from the law of sin. The law was weak through flesh, but God sent to us His beloved Son in the likeness of sinful flesh on account of sin; He condemned sin in the flesh, and gives us hope of eternal life with Him. Therefore brethren, through this man is preached the forgiveness of sins, and all who believe is justified from all things not justified by the law of Moses. Let us be thankful for His Son and for His word.
