Good Morning,  

Progressivism refuses to acknowledge or accept the need for God in this life.  Progressives lean on man's own understanding which says there is no problem that can't be overcome and our goals can be achieved by our thinking and actions of our feelings.  We may have feelings of inward unrest but that can be resolved by our awareness of the situation and meditation.  All of our outward problems can be solved by science and technology.  God is not essential any longer and is even losing His place spiritually.  How sad is this?  We face the danger of war, there is hunger and disease. and you must admit there is an increase in suicide here and around the world, can it be our progress has many disillusioned and disturbed.  Maybe just maybe there is no human solution to our problems,  science and technology does not solve all our problems.  Truthfully we are unable to help ourselves where help is needed most.  Science and technology can help with life's lesser problems, but there is no denying we need help only God can supply.  We cannot solve the problem of sin nor the return to God alone.  The cross where Jesus died tells us the goodness of men is not good enough.

Our God is an awesome God; He does not change Malachi 3.6.  And according to the scriptures, His beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, is the same yesterday, today and forever Hebrews 13.  This describes God, our God, and He will remain so to the faithful forever and ever.  He is our guide even till death. Psalms 48.14.  You, Lord, are the same and Your years will have no end. Psalms 102.27.  Yes, the Lord lives and great are His promises to all who will trust and obey.  Let us on bended knee be thankful to Him for He is good; His mercy endures forever. Psalms 107.1

Thank You, Father, for Your word which endures forever, 1 Peter 1.23-25. even though heaven and earth will pass away, Your word will not from Matthew 24.35, Your word, Lord, is settled in heaven forever Psalms 119.89.  You are my strength that helps me in times of trouble Psalms 46.1.  Your name is my strong tower where there is safety. Proverbs 18.10.  You establish me and keep me from evil. 2 Thessalonians 3.3.  You are the God of my salvation.  And thank you for Your beloved Son, Jesus, and His sacrifice for my sins and His resurrection wherein lies my hope.  In Jesus dear and precious name this prayer is given.

If you become discouraged, worried, lonely, or depressed, you can find comfort and help in John 14.1.  Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  And in Philippians 4. 6-8,  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.  Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.  Let the peace of God rule in your hearts for God is our refuge our strength real help in time of trouble.  He has promised to never leave nor forsake the faithful.

We are not sufficient of ourselves, our sufficiency is of God. 2 Corinthians 3.5.  And God is able to make all grace abound toward us, sufficient always with all sufficiency in all things, that we may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9.8.  In all these things we are more than conquerors. Romans 8.37.  We are blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.  I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4.13.  Without Him I can do nothing.,
