Culture says: Hustle and sleep when you're dead.

God says: Rest in knowing that with God all things are possible. So walk on the pace of grace for your calling.

Culture says: You can't trust people, they will hurt you.

God says: The wrong people will hurt you, but the right people will heal you.

Culture says: Expose , shame, judge, and cancel.

God says: Expose, heal, correct, and redeem.

Culture says: Go where you're celebrated.

God says: Go where I called you to go. Everything you need is there. -Solo

We begin the day on bended knee to give thanks to our God. Then we put on the whole armor of God and go out into this sin sick world where we may face many trials and temptations. Remember to take the sword of the Spirit,(God's word) with you and be readys to give an answer to all who might ask the reason for your faith. Place yourself under the mighty hand of God, and let your light shine brightly to reveal the beauty of Jesus in you.

The solid foundation of God stands. having this seal: "the Lord knows those who are His, and let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."  Build your faith on the solid rock, Jesus Christ, our Lord.  Be diligent to grow in the grace and knowledge of God the Father and His beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, who has redeemed us from the bondage of sin.  Flee youthful lusts; pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.  Do not now weary in doing good, and contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the Saints.  Build and maintain your faith and trust on the solid rock of God.

As disciples in Christ, we are to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3.18).  We grow through study of His word, (2 Timothy 2.15) and meditating on things that are true, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4.8). And beside this we are to add to our faith, for scripture says if these things are in us, and abound, they make us that we shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3.1), and Christ's word will dwell richly in us (Colossians 3.16).

Father, keep us in Your loving care, and help us and guide us to grow in you more and more each day as we travel this pilgrim road to our eternal home with You in heaven. In Jesus name, AMEN.

The word of God is powerful and sharper than any two edged sword and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4.12).  Every word of God is pure (Proverbs 30.5), and truth (John 17.17).  The gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone (Romans 1.16).  Read it, study it, trust it, obey it.  It is a life changing experience.

Thank You, Father, for Your powerful word that will change the life of all who will believe and obey it.  Help us to study a portion of Your word each day that we might be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is in us.  And thank You for Jesus, our Savior and redeemer, for His church, and the blood He shed to purchase it.  In Jesus name we pray. AMEN
