If God be for Us=Jack Blake
Saturday, July 13, 2024Good Morning,
If God be for us, who can be against us? What can separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, for in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. See Romans 8.29,31,35-39. Be of good courage, and He said hallelujah, strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. Psalms 31.24. God loves those who love and keep His commandments
Love sweet love from above-Jack Blake
Wednesday, July 10, 2024Good Morning,
The greatest gift given to us from above is Jesus Christ, Son of God, who was sent by God and who willingly left His heavenly home to die for the sins of the world. Not His sins, because He was sinless, but your sins and mine that we might be reconciled with God and have hope of eternal life. This He done out of pure sweet love from above. For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son. John 3.16. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3.16. How sweet, how precious was this love from above which was given to us, not to keep to ourselves but to share with others. Today let's focus on Jesus the Christ and the love He has gifted us with and share it with others. Read 1 Corinthians 13.
The way of the cross-Jack Blake
Friday, July 05, 2024Good Morning,
Blessed be the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again, a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1.3. And blessed are those who know, keep and do His commandments that they might have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. See Revelation 22.14. The Lord God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. 2 Peter 1.3. The Lord has shown us what is good and all He requires of us is to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him. Micah 6.8. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him John 14.6. Your word, O Lord, has given me life Psalms 119.50. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me. Galatians 2.20. The way of the cross leads home and there is no other way.
Life is like a vapor-Jack Blake
Monday, July 01, 2024James has rightly said: "Life is like a vapor that appears for a time and then vanishes away." James 4.14. This is a true statement because, it is also written that it is appointed for men once to die, and then comes the judgement. Hebrews 9.27. It is God who has the power to give life and to take life as He chooses. Today, this day, God has provided for us to live, rejoice and be glad in it to do His good pleasure. Psalms 118.24. So, since life is short and death and judgement are real and coming, let us open up our hearts and let the Son shine in. Let us hold fast to the word of life and do all things without complaining and disputing that we may become blameless and harmless children of God without fault in the midst of this crooked and perverse generation in which we live, and let our light shine brightly so others might see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Philippians 2.13-16; Matthew 5.16. God wants us to live and be happy while doing His will. Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Romans 12.15. God is counting on us, will we be successful in living and serving Him?
Wages of Sin-Jack Blake
Saturday, June 29, 2024GOOD MORNING,
By ONE man sin entered into the world, and DEATH by sin; and so DEATH passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 5.12. For all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Romans 3.23, and the WAGES of sin is DEATH. But through Jesus the Christ our Lord, God has gifted us with eternal life. Romand 6.23. God commanded His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. Romans 5.8. This gift from God is the gospel; given and enjoyed by all who have heard it preached receive it and stand by it.
By it we are saved, if we keep in memory this preaching of Christ and the Apostles, unless our belief is in vain. According to the scriptures, CHRIST DIED for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. See 1 Corinthians 15.1-4. By God's grace we are saved through our faith; not of ourselves it is THE GIFT of GOD; not of works lest any man should boast. See Ephesians 2.8,9. This is the testimony:that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. If we have the Son, we have life, if we do not have the Son we have not life. Believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5.11-13.
All emphasis are mine.
