God Said-Jack Blake
Monday, September 30, 2024Good Morning,
God said three things that should cause everyone to tremble. 1.) Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish, Luke 13.3-5, 2.) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of heaven... 3.) Whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple, Luke 14.27. And Paul, being moved by the Holy Spirit tells us that Jesus will take vengeance on them who do not know God and obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. punishing them with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power. 2 Thessalonians 8.9. God have mercy on us as we struggle in this sinful world. Strengthen our faith and give us understanding and encouragement. In Jesus name, AMEN
What Does God Require-Jack Blake
Thursday, September 26, 2024Good Morning,
He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6.8. If we are to have a true relationship with God, we must study His word diligently to know His commandments and do them, for this is God's will for us. John 14.6. And to love others as Christ also has loved you. We know with certainty that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idoler, has an inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

To Whom Should We Go-Jack Blake
Monday, September 23, 2024Good Morning,
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the beloved Son of God, is the light and the life of the world, the true light of men, came into the world that was made through Him, but the world did not know Him. There were some who walked with Him, knew Him, and believed in Him who went back and walked with Him no more, and Jesus asked His Apostles: "Do you also want to go away?" But Peter answered: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and WE HAVE AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." As the disciples of Christ, living in this world which was made through Christ and which man has turned into hate and wickedness, must continue to walk with our Lord, in the light of His word so we too can come to believe and know Him on a personal and intimate basis.
See John 1.66-69.
Whom Will You Serve-Jack Blake
Thursday, September 12, 2024Good Morning,
Seek you FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Matthew 6.33. You cannot serve two masters. Matthew 6.24. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me, scatters. Consider the cost of discipleship, "whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. Luke 14.33. Then choose for yourself this day whom you will serve. Joshua 24.15.
Being Like Christ-Jack Blake
Friday, September 06, 2024Good Morning,
You have put off the old self with its deeds and practices, Colossians 3.9, and have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires and now belong to Christ. Galatians 5.24, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created you. Colossians 3.9, 10. We are to have the mind of Christ, Romans 12.16 and be like Him in character. Putting off the old man and putting on the new is both something we did in the past, as seen in the Colossian letter, and in Ephesians 4.22-24. It is stated as a command. This is not easy, but the disciple is to grow in Christ, adding daily to his faith. I myself and I'm sure others are lacking in this command. Pray for us.
