Nearer to God to Thee-Jack Blake
Wednesday, February 28, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends,
If we will love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind, we will draw nearer to Him. If we say we abide in Him, we ought also to walk as He walked, in love and in the Spirit, not fulfilling the fleshly lusts. Though we were once in darkness, now we are the light of the Lord. So walk with Him as His children of light, earnestly contending for the faith and adding daily to that faith the Christian graces. Doing these things will keep us near to the heart of God. This my song shall ever be, nearer my God to Thee.
Father, we long to be with You eternally in the heavens. But while we still remain on earth, help us to love You completely, with no reservations and walk properly with You letting You be our guide to that eternal home.
IN JESUS NAME we pray, AMEN
Believe-Jack Blake
Tuesday, February 27, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends,
According to the scriptures, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things that are visible. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11.1, 3, 6). Believe in God, believe that He communicates to us through His word, the Bible and that the Bible can be understood (Hebrews 11.6; 2 Timothy 3.16,17; John 8.32; Ephesians 5.17). Believe that if we are to be saved eternally, we must live a life of soberness, righteousness, and godliness (Titus2.11-14). Believe that Christ is coming again one day, maybe soon, to judge the world in righteousness (Hebrews 9.27; Acts 17.30, 31). Heaven is real and everlasting (John 14.1-3; 1 Peter 1.3-5). Hell is real and everlasting (Matthew 25.46; Revelation 20.10, 15).
Lord we believe, help our unbelief. AMEN
More About Jesus and His Gospel-Jack Blake
Monday, February 26, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends,
The gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone of every creed, of every tongue, of every nation. Hear it, believe it. Jesus said: "Repent and believe the gospel ' (Mark 1.15). Obey it, for this is God's will for you. He wants no one to perish, but that all might have eternal life. If you refuse His gospel you will die in your sins and face eternal punishment.
Hear, O hear Him calling, calling now for thee.

Saturday, February 24, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends,
There is an urgent need for us to return to the Bible for all our beliefs, preaching and practice. We must with a true heart go back to God's word for what we believe, teach, preach, and practice in our daily lives. Man has drifted away from the word of God and instead of obeying God's will, they twist His word to satisfy their own selfish desires. Religious division has reared its ugly head and division in the Lord's church has always been wrong (1 Corinthians 1.10). The Lord hates those who sow discord among the brethren (Proverbs 6.19) and Jesus prayed that we would all be one as He and the Father are one (John 17.20,21). Man made creeds, doctrines and practices. that are unscriptural and the disciple of Christ must avoid and expose them by all means and any cost. Brethren it is time we got back to teaching, preaching and living the truths of God's word.
Father, our prayer is, that You will help us to recognize all man made doctrines, creeds and practices, which contradict Your word. Help us to boldly stand for Your word as it is written and against those who oppose it.
In Jesus Name we pray, AMEN.
Increase Our Faith-Jack Blake
Friday, February 23, 2024Greetings Brethren and Friends, .
Faith, love, patience, forgiveness and encouragement are all attributes of Jesus. And as His disciples, we are to be of His same mind and follow His pattern in life. But we sometimes fall short of His standards for living the Christian life. And sadly the world is watching.
Father, increase our faith, help us to love as You love us, with patience and understanding, forgiving and encouraging one another as You have taught us.
In Jesus Name, AMEN
