Trust and Hope in Jesus-Jack Blake
Tuesday, April 09, 2024Greetings, Friends, and Brethren,
Through the resurrection of Jesus our Savior, the author and finisher of our faith, who has been given all authority over all things in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28.18). We have hope. No matter how wicked and evil the world becomes we have hope in His word; be of good cheer I have overcome the world and His promise; I will never leave you nor forsake you (John 16.33; Hebrews 13.5). These things are for the obedient faithful and encourage us to follow Jesus every day. Friends open your Bibles. Read, hear and obey His word before it's too late. Brethren do not let the world's trials and temptations cause you to drift from God. Keep the faith, read your Bible daily, lean on His arms and remain faithful till death.
Near To the Heart of God-Jack Blake
Monday, April 08, 2024Greetings, Friends and Brethren
Jesus was sent from the heart of God to this low ground of sin and sorrow to seek and save the lost of this world. Now if Jesus was sent from the heart of God and we truly want to be near to the heart of God where there is calm, peace and release from the troubles of the world, then we need to set our minds not on things of earth but on things on high and stay close to the blessed Redeemer, Jesus the Christ, by picking up our cross daily and following Him. Brethren we can make a difference by seeking the lost, teaching them the truths of the gospel and conducting our lives with the same mind as Christ.
Father, draw us nearer still nearer to the cross where Jesus died. Nearer still nearer to thy heart. Our sinful and contrite hearts we bring to thee to be washed and cleansed in the precious blood of our Savior. We resign and crucify all of sins pleasures, pride and desires and want now to only do Your will. Help us, Father, to find that quiet place of rest near to Your heart.
In Jesus name, AMEN
Promises of God-Jack Blake
Saturday, April 06, 2024Greetings Friends, and Brethren,
If you reading this then be thankful! For this day was made possible by God through His love, mercy and grace. It is the day made by God; so be glad and rejoice in it. (Psalms 119.24). It was by the divine power of God that we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1.3). He has shown us what is good and only requires us to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6). To show our love for Him, let us walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we were called, with all lowliness, meekness and logsuffering, forbearing one another in love and endeavoring to keep the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4.1-3). May the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. (Colossians 3.15). Trust in Him, obey His commandments, stay grounded deep in His love, steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and be faithful until death, then you will receive the crown of life. (Revelation 2.10). For God has promised and you shall receive.
A Friday Morning Prayer-Jack Blake
Friday, April 05, 2024Greetings, Friends and Brethren let's pray.
Father, we are thankful for Your Son, Jesus, who gives us the way to eternal life and for Your rich mercy and for Your word. Precious Lord, we ask this morning that You will keep us safe in You everlasting arms and shelter us from the evil one. Give us peace and stillness to quiet our souls when the troubled winds of life blow. May we ever be anchored in Your love, steadfast and immovable as we do Your work according to Your will. Forgive us our repented sins. And take us by Your righteous right hand and lead us gently Home.
In Jesus Name AMEN.
No Other Compares to God-Jack Blake
Thursday, April 04, 2024Greetings, Friends, and Brethren,
It is written: To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God, and there's no other besides Him. (Deuteronomy 4.35). There is salvation in no other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4.12). There is one and only one Lord, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4,5,6). Our God is an awesome God who is not slack in His promise, but is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3.9). Let us love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our being. (Matthew 22.37). Obey His commandments and go into the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28.19).
