Good morning.

God has granted us another day to enjoy and serve Him.  Everything that one has, hopes to have and the many blessings we enjoy in our lives are an expression of God’s love for us, James 1:17. How can anyone ever repay Him for all the good He has done, and will continue to do for us in this life?  Jesus said it best in John 14:15, love Him and obey His words.  Yet, as simple as that sounds it’s a daily challenge for each of us.  One must submit and surrender their lives to Him by seeking His will first, Matthew 6:33.  His will must replace my will and that is a battle for each of us.  Yet, with Christ it can be accomplish,  Philippians 4:13.  Take time to talk with Him in prayer, read and mediate on His words and it will help us in fighting against our adversary the devil, 1 Peter 5:8.  God is good and we thank Him for His love and grace in our lives.  May we strive to be the best influence and example today so we can be of help in leading the sinner to Him and the benefits of the cross, Galatians 2:20. Blessed be the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again, a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1.3.  And blessed are those who know, keep and do His commandments that they might have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.  See Revelation 22.14.  The Lord God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. 2 Peter 1.3.  The Lord has shown us what is good and all He requires of us is to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Him. Micah 6.8.  Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him John 14.6.  Your word, O Lord, has given me life Psalms 119.50.  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me. Galatians 2.20.  The way of the cross leads home and there is no other way.

By ONE man sin entered into the world, and DEATH by sin; and so DEATH passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 5.12.  For all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Romans 3.23, and the WAGES of sin is DEATH.  But through Jesus the Christ our Lord, God has gifted us with eternal life. Romand 6.23.  God commanded His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. Romans 5.8.  This gift from God is the gospel; given and enjoyed by all who have heard it preached receive it and stand by it.

By it we are saved, if we keep in memory this preaching of Christ and the Apostles, unless our belief is in vain.  According to the scriptures, CHRIST DIED for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. See 1 Corinthians 15.1-4.  By God's grace we are saved through our faith; not of ourselves it is THE GIFT of GOD; not of works lest any man should boast. See Ephesians 2.8,9.  This is the testimony:that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son.  If we have the Son, we have life, if we do not have the Son we have not life.  Believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5.11-13.

Put on Love for it is the bond of perfection and let the word of God dwell in you richly and let the peace of God rule in your hearts.  We are God's elect and as His elect we should have the same mind as He, putting on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering.  In all we do, it is God's will and our duty to do all to the glory of God in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, giving thanks to God, the Father, through Him.  As God's children, we must take time to be holy, hold to God's unchanging hand, lean on His everlasting arms and He will light the way and brighten your day.  This brethren is how to let our lights shine so others can see our good works, and glorify our Father in heaven.

My thoughts for this day which the Lord has made, and I fully intend to rejoice and be glad in it.Psalms 118.24.

Father, thank You for Jesus and for His word which we firmly stand and help us each day to put on the proper attire to face whatever life's challenges bring our way. in Jesus Name, AMEN

We must know and believe the words of David in Psalm 48.14; This God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our God even unto death.  And the wise man said in Proverbs 3.5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths, for His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Psalm 119.105. God has taught us and showed us what is good and all He requires of us is to do justly, to love mercy, and to humbly walk with Him. See Micah 6.8. Salvation belongs to our God; what a wonderful savior is He.

Father, we thank you for your beloved Son Jesus and for Your word on which we firmly stand.  Help us Father to never forget that You are the rock we lean on and our fortress and for Your sake lead us and guide us through this pilgrim land to our heavenly home. AMEN
