Wages of Sin-Jack Blake
Saturday, June 29, 2024GOOD MORNING,
By ONE man sin entered into the world, and DEATH by sin; and so DEATH passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 5.12. For all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Romans 3.23, and the WAGES of sin is DEATH. But through Jesus the Christ our Lord, God has gifted us with eternal life. Romand 6.23. God commanded His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. Romans 5.8. This gift from God is the gospel; given and enjoyed by all who have heard it preached receive it and stand by it.
By it we are saved, if we keep in memory this preaching of Christ and the Apostles, unless our belief is in vain. According to the scriptures, CHRIST DIED for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. See 1 Corinthians 15.1-4. By God's grace we are saved through our faith; not of ourselves it is THE GIFT of GOD; not of works lest any man should boast. See Ephesians 2.8,9. This is the testimony:that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. If we have the Son, we have life, if we do not have the Son we have not life. Believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5.11-13.
All emphasis are mine.
Not discouraged but be of good courage-Jack Blake
Thursday, June 27, 2024Good Morning,
We sometimes become discouraged in life. But help to overcome is as close as the scriptures. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me. Psalms 138.7. Jesus said in John 14.1: "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. For "peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14.27. So let us not be weary in well doing, be of good courage and He will strengthen the heart of all that hope in the Lord. Psalms 31.24. Wait on the Lord.
Our Attire for the Day-Jack Blake
Wednesday, June 26, 2024Good Morning,
Put on Love for it is the bond of perfection and let the word of God dwell in you richly and let the peace of God rule in your hearts. We are God's elect and as His elect we should have the same mind as He, putting on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering. In all we do, it is God's will and our duty to do all to the glory of God in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, giving thanks to God, the Father, through Him. As God's children, we must take time to be holy, hold to God's unchanging hand, lean on His everlasting arms and He will light the way and brighten your day. This brethren is how to let our lights shine so others can see our good works, and glorify our Father in heaven.
My thoughts for this day which the Lord has made, and I fully intend to rejoice and be glad in it.Psalms 118.24.
Father, thank You for Jesus and for His word which we firmly stand and help us each day to put on the proper attire to face whatever life's challenges bring our way. in Jesus Name, AMEN
Sheep in the Midst of Wolves-Jack Blake
Tuesday, June 25, 2024Christians are like sheep living in the midst of wolves because of the evil days we are in. Therefore we must not be foolish, but wise in our speech and understanding. Always keeping the will of the Lord, rejoicing in His goodness and always praying with thankful hearts to God the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If we will let our light shine brightly, someone may see our good works and praise our Heavenly Father. So always love God, do good, hate and expose evil. This is the will of the Father for us.
Thanks for reading.
It is Jesus Who Calls Us-Jack Blake
Monday, June 24, 2024Good Morning,
Since the Wisdom of God, the world through wisdom, does not know God. But to all who wish to walk in the way of the Master, Christ is the power and the wisdom of God. So when the road you are traveling on through this pilgrim land becomes rough and rocky, hear the sweet voice of Jesus say: "Come unto Me I am the way.” Hear the blessed savior calling you and let Him take you by the hand and lead you on to that promised land. It is Jesus who calls us; It is Jesus who said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." It is Jesus who has been perfected; the author of eternal salvation to all who will obey Him.
See 1 Corinthians 1.21-24; Matthew 11.28; Hebrews 5.9.
