Jesus, The Way of Truth-Jack Blake
Saturday, May 25, 2024Good Morning,
"The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ," the Lamb of God. (See John 1.17, 36). Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." (John 14.6, John 8.32). The Lord is near and all His commandments are true. (Psalms 119.151). Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. By this we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before Him. (1 John 3.18-19). His word is truth (John 17.17). The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations. (Psalms 100.5). Being His disciples we are to feed on His word, which is truth, do His commandments and walk and worship Him in truth and in spirt. (John 4.24).
A Morning Prayer-Jack Blake
Friday, May 24, 2024Good Morning,
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalms 118.24). Father, we come to You this morning on bended knee and humble our selves before Your throne, being thankful for Your protection and peace as we rested through the night; and for waking us to live this new day for you. Give us, Father, our daily bread and forgive our sins as we forgive those who transgress us. Lord, increase our knowledge of You and help us to understand that our plans for this day must be surrendered to Yours. Help us to do all things in word and deed that will bring praise, honor and glory to Your holy name. In Jesus name w pray, AMEN.
There is No Other Way-Jack Blake
Thursday, May 23, 2024Good Morning,
Do you believe in God? Have you made the great confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that He died for our sins? Do you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God? If you answered yes to all of the above, do you believe you are saved?
Read and hear the scriptures. Even the demons believe in God and tremble. (James 2.19). They even fear God. and many of them confessed Jesus to be the Son of God. (Luke 4. 41). But they still remained demons, and their belief did not change them. Many of the rulers believed in God, but were afraid to confess Him because of the pharisees who would put them out of the synagogue. Proving the loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. (John 12. 42,43). Rulers also believed in Jesus and that He was the Christ, but would not confess or follow Him. (Matthew 10.32,33). We can be believers, but still be in a lost condition. For Jesus said: "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Continue reading Matthew 7.21,23). Those people were religious, sincere, believers in God, but were still lost, rejected by Christ, because they did not obey the will of their Heavenly Father. If there is any hope of entering the Kingdom of heaven, we must believe, obey and do the Father's will. Read also James 2.24; John 6.29; Colossians 2.12; Ephesians 2.10). Jesus asks us: "Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, but do not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6.46). If you love Me keep My commandments. (John 14.15). There is no other way but His.

His Word is Truth-Jack Blake
Wednesday, May 22, 2024Good Morning,
All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man is as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: But the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word by which the gospel is preached to you. But we were born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which lives and abides forever. (See 1 Peter 1.23-25). So the grass may wither, and the flower fade; but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (See Isaiah 40.8). It is written, heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24.35). Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word which is able to save your souls. And be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1.21, 22). For His word is a lamp to the feet and lights our path. (Psalms 119.105). So let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. (Colossians 3.16). For His word is truth. (John 17.17).
Fruitful in God's Work-Jack Blake
Tuesday, May 21, 2024Good Morning,
Thus says the Lord; "Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes I have made him." (Isaiah 43.7). "This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise. (V21). By Him let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. Do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13.15;16). Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (Revelation 4.11). Lest we forget, we were created to do all things that will bring glory, honor, and praise to God. May we always walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him and being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. (See Colossians 1.10).
