iGood Morning,  Our salvation was obtained through Jesus the Christ, Son of God and the only name by which salvation is possible. He came, He taught, did many miracles, was rejected by His own, suffered and died by crucifixion for the sins of the world. In Him we live and move and have our being. Acts 17.28. Living for Jesus is to walk by faith with Him, in the light of His word, having the same mind as He, humble, loving, caring, merciful, forgiving others just as He has forgiven us. Philippians 2. Living for Jesus we will suffer persecution from the world and sometimes within the church. Living our life for Jesus is not always sunshine and roses. But quitting is never an option for those who choose to pick up their cross daily and follow Him. Living for Jesus is not for the weak and faint hearted. but for the strong and courageous who are striving to please Him.

Good Morning,  Growing up as a child we had to wear hand me down jeans with holes in the because we were financially poor. Today's youth pay an excessive amount of money for jeans with holes in the knees and other places. Is it because they are rich and money is so available? Is it to satisfy their ego? Is it because it is worldly and pleases man? Is it because they are with the 'in' crowd? Wouldn't it be great if jeans with holes in the knees was from spending much time kneeling in prayer to God with humble and thankful hearts? Just a thought for this morning. Thanks for letting me vent.

Good Morning,  Yesterday is gone, there may not be a tomorrow; this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Live honorably and godly in Christ Jesus according to the will of God while contending for the faith which was once for all delivered to the Saints. Be patient, be gentle and kind, love others just as Christ loved you and forgave you. Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below.

In chapter 8 of the book of Romans, we are told there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. That is those who have followed God's plan of salvation as noted in Acts 2.38; Romans 6. Those who have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires and now belong to Christ Jesus. Galatians 5.24. Those who have been called out of the darkness of sin and into God's marvelous light. 1 Peter 2.9. These are the true ones, these are the saved ones who are traveling through this wicked, resentful, disobedient world, going to their final home in heaven to live evermore with Jesus, who now sits at the right hand of God's throne. God have mercy, Guide, guard, protect and direct our steps that on that great day we might hear, well done good and faithful servant, enter into My Kingdom.
