A Blessed Nation-Jack Blake
Tuesday, May 28, 2024Good Morning,
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance (Psalms 33.12). When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan (Proverbs 29.2). We are always asking for God to bless America, and God has blessed this nation beyond measure; Maybe it's time for America to bless God with a thankful heart. Turn back to Him in repentance and He will become our God, and we, His people. There is no other way but His.
Our Hope is In God-Jack Blake
Monday, May 27, 2024Good Morning,
The whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And according to the proverbs of the ancients, wickedness proceeds from the wicked (1 Samuel 24.13). And like it or not, we have to live in this broken sin filled world. But there is hope for the faithful obedient, for we are of God.(1 John 5.19). As children of God, we still must grow in the Spirit and in the likeness of our creator while being surrounded by the troubles and evils of the world.
Father, You are our strength and only hope to help us overcome the evil one and his wicked ways. As we humble ourselves under Your mighty hand, Father, we give praise, honor and glory to your most holy name. Praising and blessing You for Your truth, Your greatness, Your goodness, Your mercy and Your loving kindness. Father, as our creator and the God of our salvation, we thank you for Your word on which we stand, and for Jesus who gave His life for us that we might have a more abundant life. This we pray in Jesus name. AMEN.
Jesus, The Way of Truth-Jack Blake
Saturday, May 25, 2024Good Morning,
"The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ," the Lamb of God. (See John 1.17, 36). Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." (John 14.6, John 8.32). The Lord is near and all His commandments are true. (Psalms 119.151). Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. By this we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before Him. (1 John 3.18-19). His word is truth (John 17.17). The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations. (Psalms 100.5). Being His disciples we are to feed on His word, which is truth, do His commandments and walk and worship Him in truth and in spirt. (John 4.24).
A Morning Prayer-Jack Blake
Friday, May 24, 2024Good Morning,
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalms 118.24). Father, we come to You this morning on bended knee and humble our selves before Your throne, being thankful for Your protection and peace as we rested through the night; and for waking us to live this new day for you. Give us, Father, our daily bread and forgive our sins as we forgive those who transgress us. Lord, increase our knowledge of You and help us to understand that our plans for this day must be surrendered to Yours. Help us to do all things in word and deed that will bring praise, honor and glory to Your holy name. In Jesus name w pray, AMEN.
There is No Other Way-Jack Blake
Thursday, May 23, 2024Good Morning,
Do you believe in God? Have you made the great confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that He died for our sins? Do you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God? If you answered yes to all of the above, do you believe you are saved?
Read and hear the scriptures. Even the demons believe in God and tremble. (James 2.19). They even fear God. and many of them confessed Jesus to be the Son of God. (Luke 4. 41). But they still remained demons, and their belief did not change them. Many of the rulers believed in God, but were afraid to confess Him because of the pharisees who would put them out of the synagogue. Proving the loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. (John 12. 42,43). Rulers also believed in Jesus and that He was the Christ, but would not confess or follow Him. (Matthew 10.32,33). We can be believers, but still be in a lost condition. For Jesus said: "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Continue reading Matthew 7.21,23). Those people were religious, sincere, believers in God, but were still lost, rejected by Christ, because they did not obey the will of their Heavenly Father. If there is any hope of entering the Kingdom of heaven, we must believe, obey and do the Father's will. Read also James 2.24; John 6.29; Colossians 2.12; Ephesians 2.10). Jesus asks us: "Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, but do not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6.46). If you love Me keep My commandments. (John 14.15). There is no other way but His.
