Enduring Suffering-Jack Blake
Thursday, August 01, 2024Good Morning,
Paul and the other Apostles, endured much suffering for the cause of Christ. But their sufferings helped them to be content in whatever circumstances they found themselves in, even in prison, and when we look closely at their teachings, this is a large part of the Christians life. Take time today to look at all the blessings God showers on us through His word and try harder to make this day and every day, a day of rejoicing just as God meant it to be.
Citizens of God's Kingdom-Jack Blake
Wednesday, July 31, 2024Good Morning,
Being thankful this morning that our citizenship is not on this earth, but in heaven living eternal with our Lord. It is sometimes difficult t0 live in this world with those who are enemies of the cross, whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their mind own earthly things. While we (God's children) eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lorde, Jesus Christ who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. What a day, glorious day, that will be. Be strong and courageous, brethren, the battle belongs too the Lord and we will be victorious in the end!
A New Commandment-Jack Blake
Tuesday, July 30, 2024Good Morning,
In the gospel of JOHN 13,34 it is written: "A new commandment I give to you (God's children jb) that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another, for by this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another". And then in JOHN 14.15, He said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. For He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me, and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love Him and manifest Myself to him." V 21. Jesus said it, I believe it, For He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. Maybe those who call themselves God's children should go back and read this again.
Turn to God-Jack Blake
Monday, July 29, 2024Dear disciple,
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not for I am an unchanging God whose love, mercy, and grace will always be with you who remain. faithful to Me. I am your refuge and strength, a very present help in time of danger. Proverbs 46.1. When all else fails, when friends and family turn against you, turn to Me and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. See Matthew 11.28. When everyone else turns you away, Jesus will take you in. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else will be added unto you. Matthew 6.33.
The Cure for Sin and Death-Keith Greer
Thursday, July 25, 2024Good morning.
Today we will remember that all men have a serious disease that only one person had a remedy for. That disease is SIN, Romans 3:23. The result of that particular disease is death, Romans 6:23. Mankind with all their human wisdom and wonderful medical knowledge have no solution for this disease. Why? Human remedies are of no help with this spiritual illness. Only the sacrifice of the Son of God gave mankind true hope of finding a way out of this terrible situation, Romans 5:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-19. Yet, sadly so many don’t know they have this disease. Others will not accept the truth that only by applying that blood to their sin stained soul can one be redeemed and have true salvation. What can we do to help our fellow man? Take the message of the true gospel of Jesus Christ to every person, Matthew 28:18-20. This is the power to save—the message of the cross, Romans 1:16. Why not humble ourselves and look to Him who died in order to give true meaning to this life and that one to come! Open your heart today and mediate on His precious words of life, John 6:63. God leaves that choice to each of us, Romans 6:16-18. Please consider the value of your soul and terrible price to be paid to reject His gracious offer, 2 Corinthians 5:10-11. Time is on God’s side not ours.
