The Old Becomes New-Jack Blake
Friday, March 21, 2025Spring time has arrived in Northwest, Indiana. The weather begins to warm and by God’s divine power nature comes back to life. Feeling the warmth of the sunlight and seeing the trees, grass and shrubs begin to change color after laying dormant for the fall and winter months, I am reminded of God giving new life in the resurrection of His beloved Son from death that we might have forgiveness of our repented sins and give us hope of eternal life with Him. And how we arise from our burial with Christ in baptism to walk in newness of life. The old dies and the new is born! truly we serve a living and powerful God.

Fear of the Lord as recorded in Proverbs-Jack Blake
Tuesday, March 18, 2025The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge Proverbs 1.7. The beginning of wisdom (9.10) that leads to life (19.23), prolongs days and hates evil. (8.1 & 3). Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; Old things are passed away ; behold all things are become new. If he then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things of earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Continue reading Colossians 3.1-17. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom (V16). And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the father by Him. There is no other way but His. (V17)

Are You Ready-Jack Blake
Saturday, March 15, 2025There’s a great day coming by and by and perhap sooner than later. It will be a great and glorious day for the faithful of God, who have fought the good fight. For those who have loved and obeyed the Lord while here on earth. But for the sons of disobedience including those who once knew God but later rejected His ways, it will be a a sad and dreadful day. The faithful servant on that day will hear the Lord say, “Well done good and faithful servant.”but the disobedient and unfaithful will hear “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” Will it be a great and glorious day or a sad and dreadful day for you? Are you ready for the Lord to come?
