The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. Psalms 96.4.  Let us humble ourself under God's mighty hand as we walk with Him fearing Him, knowing and keeping His commandments.  Having the mind of Christ, being kindly affectioned to one another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.  May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, dwell in our hearts, and serve Him with gladness, being thankful for all things.

According to the scriptures, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrew 11.1.  Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11.6.  Now faith comes by hearing the word of God. Romans 10.17.  Without faith, it is impossible to be pleasing to God, for all who come to God must believe that He is, and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Disciples walk by with, not by sight 2 Corinthians 5.7.

Lord I believe, increase my faith and help my unbelief.

Brethren, if you become discouraged in this life and are experiencing heaviness through manifold temptations, take it to the Lord in prayer; let your requests be made known to God.  If you are in the midst of troubles, He will revive you.  Do not let your heart be troubled, but try to increase your belief in God and Christ.  Concentrate on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report, for in these things is virtue and praise. Philippians 4.6-8. and you will have the peace of God in your heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding.

We are not sufficient of ourselves, our sufficiency is of God. 2 Corinthians 3.5.  And God is able to make all grace abound toward us, sufficient always with all sufficiency in all things, that we may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9.8.  In all these things we are more than conquerors. Romans 8.37.  We are blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.  I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4.13.  Without Him I can do nothing.,

Paul and the other Apostles, endured much suffering for the cause of Christ.  But their sufferings helped them to be content in whatever circumstances they found themselves in, even in prison, and when we look closely at their teachings, this is a large part of the Christians life.  Take time today to look at all the blessings God showers on us through His word and try harder to make this day and every day, a day of rejoicing just as God meant it to be.
