Storms Disciples will face-Jack Blake
Tuesday, July 16, 2024Good Morning,
I pray that my families, both physical and spiritual, survived the storms last night and are in the safe mode this morning. Disciples, that is followers of Christ, have been and will always be in a battle with storms of life, both physical and spiritual. But we are never alone during these times. God is in charge of the weather, (the physical storms), and the spiritual storms also. He is our refuge and our strength in both the physical and spiritual battles. As Long as we remain faithful to Him, and put full faith and trust in Him, He has promised to never leave nor forsake us. Hebrews 13.5. But without this faith it is impossible to please Him, Hebrews 11.6. And it is written: "Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back My soul has no pleasure in them." Hebrews 10.38. It is also written that only those who remain faithful until death will receive the crown of life, See Revelation 2.10. To God alone, be faithful and be true.
True peace and quietness-Jack Blake
Monday, July 15, 2024Good Morning,
Peace and quietness comes to all whose faith and trust is in the Lord. Those who form a willing godly, repentive, obedient heart, seeking the Kingdom of God, have an inner peace that surpasses all understanding. If we know and do all His commandments, Abide in His word, and His love, pray without ceasing, giving thanks for everything, 1 Thessalonians 5.17-18. And in word and deed, do all in the name of Lord Jesus being thankful through Him, Colossians 3.17. Your light will shine brightly, and others will see your good works and glorify our Heavenly Father, Matthew 5.16. And you will experience a true inner peace that can only come from living a quiet godly life. "Be still and know that I am God." Thus says the Lord.
If God be for Us=Jack Blake
Saturday, July 13, 2024Good Morning,
If God be for us, who can be against us? What can separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, for in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. See Romans 8.29,31,35-39. Be of good courage, and He said hallelujah, strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. Psalms 31.24. God loves those who love and keep His commandments
Be Wise, Abstain from Evil-Jack Blake
Thursday, July 11, 2024GOOD MORNING,
The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self confident. A quick tempered man acts foolishly. And a man of wicked intentions is hated. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. The evil will bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of righteousness. Proverbs 14.15-19. Disciples, who is wise and understanding among you? Show by good conduct that your works. are done in the meekness of wisdom. See James 3.13. Forget not, there is a way that seems right to man, but its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14.12. And remember the eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15.3. Seek. good and not evil. Amos 5.14. Abstain from every form of evil.
Love sweet love from above-Jack Blake
Wednesday, July 10, 2024Good Morning,
The greatest gift given to us from above is Jesus Christ, Son of God, who was sent by God and who willingly left His heavenly home to die for the sins of the world. Not His sins, because He was sinless, but your sins and mine that we might be reconciled with God and have hope of eternal life. This He done out of pure sweet love from above. For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son. John 3.16. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3.16. How sweet, how precious was this love from above which was given to us, not to keep to ourselves but to share with others. Today let's focus on Jesus the Christ and the love He has gifted us with and share it with others. Read 1 Corinthians 13.
